July 20–24, I’m sailing to the Bahamas with a small group of women who’ve earned their rest — and have chosen, this time, to actually take it. Four nights. Open water. Good company. No one on this trip needs anything from you except your presence.

Waking up to ocean light. Morning movement on the deck while the sea is still quiet. Real conversations — the kind that only happen when no one’s watching the clock. Sun-drenched afternoons in turquoise water. Dinners you didn’t cook, tables you didn’t set, dishes you will absolutely not clean. Dancing if the mood strikes. Stillness when it does too.
