Dr. Amy Balete, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and Life Coach who owns and operates a private practice in San Diego County. Dr. Balete works with women who are experiencing postpartum depression and anxiety, infertility, and loss as well as coaching women who are stuck in overwhelm on how to courageously create the life of their dreams. 

 

Dr. Balete has a wide range of experience working in elementary and middle schools, from being a director of a nonprofit outpatient clinic supporting homeless individuals with serious mental illness in San Diego County to working with children and adults in private practice. In her 15+ years of experience, she has provided quality service in helping people achieve their goals and better their quality of life. She is passionate about helping people succeed in finding joy in their unique purpose in life.

 

Outside of working with the best clients, Dr. Balete is a wife and mom of three littles with a new addition to their family on the way. She left her home state of Kansas to pursue her master’s and doctorate of psychology in California and never looked back. When Dr. Balete is not busy with her business, she enjoys activities with her family, a good cup of coffee, and trips to the beach.
